Petra Šarin (1992, Zagreb) is an Art History and Portuguese Language and Literature graduate student at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, Croatia. She defended her master’s thesis entitled Feminist Interventions in the Croatian Art After 2000: The Problematic and Critical Positions in 2018. During her studies she was a student assistant at a Gothic Art course. She attended several modules of extracurricular education, such as Peace Studies (2019); Political School for Artists (2018); Creative Critical Laboratory: Feminist Theories and Practices (2018) and Memorialization of Ustasha Concentration Camps (2017). She participated in five international Art History Conferences in Zagreb, Split, Belgrade and Berlin. Working independently since 2015, she has curated ten exhibitions in several galleries in Zagreb. Currently, she works in three high schools in Zagreb as a Portuguese language teacher and as a culture writer for Croatian portal Vizkultura. She speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
